The Victorian State Government, through “Go For Your Life” has made the Walwa Bush Nursing Centre Bush Walking Program a reality. Known as “Tracking Mapping and Bivouacking” the program provides fully supported local bush walks on a regular basis. With all levels of ability and fitness catered for, the walks are a fantastic way to de-stress, improve fitness, and be social. Up to 12 people have been on previous walks, and regularly participate in activities between walks to improve fitness levels. Ultimately, the WBNC will produce a printed brochure that details these walks, including input from local school children regarding flora and fauna.
