It is fun to exercise together and we have started a couple of exercise classes which are proving to be very popular.
Gentle Exercise and Balance class is a strength training class which we are running at 2pm every Monday. It is appropriate for all ages and particularly beneficial for the 50-100 age group. It is the only proven way to increase bone density.
Exercise also helps to control blood sugar levels in diabetes, reduce pain of diseases such as arthritis, reduce blood-pressure and cholesterol and burn body fat. Exercise increases mood and energy levels, improves mobility and balance.
Power Bar classes held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 5.30pm.
